About Church of the Good Shepherd

We welcome The Rev. Christina O'Hara as our rector!

I am delighted to be named by the Vestry the next Rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd, beginning January 1, 2017.  Good Shepherd is the church home that welcomed my family and me when we first moved to Sioux Falls in 2005.  After nearly 20 years of campus ministry, it was here that you gave me the opportunity to do ministry with youth and children.  It was here I first experienced my calling to the priesthood and began discernment.  Good Shepherd hosted my ordination on Dec. 10, 2011.  After 4 years of work as the Curate and then Canon for Lifelong Christian Formation at Calvary Cathedral, I feel I am ready for the challenge of becoming Rector and by the grace of God I anticipate many years together building the Kingdom of God in Sioux Falls.
